Role Overview:

Opus People Solutions on behalf of Shropshire Council is we are seeking a highly organized and motivated Administration Officer to join the council's dynamic administration team. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Administrator this position involves supporting various functions within the council, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and correspondence.

- Assist in the preparation and organization of meetings, including scheduling, agenda creation, and minute-taking.

- Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring all information is up to date and accessible.

- Support the processing of documents and applications in line with council procedures.

- Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive support across departments.

- Assist with the planning and execution of council events and initiatives.

- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in an administrative role is desirable.
