We are currently working with an organisation in the Education sector who have an excellent reputation & a fantastic working environment. The Payroll & Pensions Manager will report into the Financial Controller and work closely with HR and Finance teams to deliver excellent payroll and pension services across the group.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the full payroll & pension service across 4 payrolls
  • Challenge discrepancies in the payroll system
  • Work closely with HR colleagues to ensure payroll change are managed
  • Responsible for ensuring all statutory and pension returns are submitted to meet legislative requirements
  • Liaise and build relationships with pension providers
  • Processing of multiple pension schemes including Teachers Pension Scheme & Defined Contribution pension
  • Line management of the Payroll Officer

The successful candidate will have excellent UK payroll legislation and manual calculation expeirence. Expeirence within a multiple payroll environment and working knowledge of Defined Contribution pensions is essential. CIPP qualification is highly desirable.

This role will be fully office based with a 35 hour week. Some excellent benefits on offer including 28 days annual leave + bank holidays, enrolment into the organisation pension scheme (5% employee / 7.5% employer), onsite lunch and access to gym, swimming & tennis facilities.
