Opus People Solutions on behalf of Shropshire Council is we are seeking a highly organized and motivated Administration Officer to join the council's dynamic administration team. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Administrator this position involves supporting various financial functions within the council, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and processing of financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts.

- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with council policies and procedures.

- Support the monthly and annual financial reporting processes, including reconciliation of accounts.
