Exciting Opportunity: Product Development Engineer for a company based in Telford for a company that operates globally.

What You Will Do
- Assist in the research and evaluation of new technologies to enhance current and future product developments.
- Conduct thorough testing and produce detailed technical reports for both internal and external presentation.
- Assisting with producing technical documentation for production systems, as and when required
- Design scheme and prototype designs using Solidworks, contributing to the advancement of custom-designed automated inspection and testing systems.
- Collaborate closely with the design, electrical, and software teams to deliver solutions efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and administration within the development areas, ensuring compliance with ISO9001.
- Support the production team with the testing of standard gauging as required, showcasing your versatility and team spirit.
What You Will Bring
- A Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualification, ideally with a mechanical bias.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and experience using CAD packages, ideally Solidworks.
- Have understanding of software languages: VB, C#, C++
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in engineering, with a keen interest in test and development.
- Desirable: Experience with machine vision applications, detailed manufacturing drawings with GD&T, and knowledge of the NPI process.
