An exciting opportunity to join an off-site manufacturing based in Shrewsbury. As part of our continuing expansion, we are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector to join our Quality Department.

Key responsibilities:

Ensuring the finished products are to the correct tolerances meeting quality standards and specifications.
Ensuring documentation is complete & accurate with full recording of faults.
Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operating procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
Carry out internal process and product audits.
Contributing to continuous improvement activities.
Raising of NCRs and assisting with investigating root causes and applying corrective actions.
Experience of working to tight deadlines and changing priorities.
The ability to understand and interpret technical drawings/SOPs.
Experience working collaboratively in a team to achieve common goals.
The ability to take a methodical and systematic approach to your work
Represent the company in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.
Any other task deemed reasonable by supervision/Management
Approving or rejecting raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
Maintain polite and good communication with colleagues at all times.
Update and maintain inspection documents, forms, logs, conformance certificates and other records.
Conducting multiple stage inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
Recording and reporting any defects or issues found during inspections.
Conducting final inspections on finished products before shipment


Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.75-£14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
