SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

START DATE / DURATION: Immediate start, PERM

SALARY: Current salary is £12.75 - £14.50 depending on experience.

Hours of work 07:30 15:45 Monday Friday.

THE ROLE:

This role is working for one of our prestigious clients to join their ever expanding team. Our client is looking for a Quality inspector

Duties include

Ensuring PODS are to the correct tolerances meeting quality standards and specifications.
Carry out internal process and product audits.
Contributing to continuous improvement activities.
Raising of NCRs and assisting with corrective actions.
Experience of working to tight deadlines and changing priorities.
The ability to understand and interpret technical drawings/SOPs.
Experience working collaboratively in a team to achieve common goals.
The ability to take a methodical and systematic approach to your work.
Effective communication skills.

Report/escalate process issues through the appropriate channels.

Report/escalate quality issues through the appropriate channels.

Maintain polite and good communication with colleagues at all times.

Conducting multiple stage inspections throughout the manufacturing process.

Utilising measuring tools and equipment to ensure products meet the required specifications.

Recording and reporting any defects or issues found during inspections.

Conducting final inspections on finished products before shipment.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of inspections and quality control activities.

Update and maintain inspection documents, forms, logs, conformance certificates and other records.

Identify root cause of problems, analyse, and develop remedial actions working with shop floor and engineers.

Approving or rejecting raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.

Any other task deemed reasonable by supervision/Management.
