Position: Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of our full turn key bridge packages, safely, on program and on budget. The Project Manager will be expected to run the project through its whole life cycle, being the centerpin of the scheme throughout, directly liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to complete the project.

The Role of the Project Manager.

  • Receive a project from the sales team at the point of handover.
  • Prepare and report the commercial health of a project, both cost to complete and at a point in time.
  • Prepare a fully compliant program for both internal and external use.
  • Manage internal and external resources and coordinate availability to maintain the programme from design teams through to installation teams.
  • Coordinate with the factory to ensure the project is on programme and within budget.
  • Prepare RAMS, Site files and all other H&S documents required to comply with HSE guidelines and internal H&S procedures.
  • Organise and procure plant, materials, fixings and any other items required on-site for installation.
  • Attend meetings with clients both on-site and via teams.
  • Attend site on a regular basis to ensure the smooth running of the project and carry out progress meetings.
  • Directly lead the installation teams and be their first point of contact internally for the project
  • Prepare QA documentation upon project completion.
  • Report the commercial position of the project on completion.
  • Liaising with the commercial team, ensure all AFPs / Invoices are submitted on time.
  • Organise and lead the project review once a project is complete, lessons learned, overview, feedback from stakeholders etc.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to manage all aspects of project commercial and contractual requirements

What our client is looking for in a Project Manager;

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Experience within the construction industry.
  • Temporary Works Coordinator of all site works.
  • Working knowledge of planning software Microsoft Project or similar.
  • Good understanding of construction methods, and specifications, and the ability to read, understand and measure drawings.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint etc.
  • Experience with both NEC and JCT contracts.
  • Be cost-aware and conscious.
  • Hold a valid driving license.
  • Be willing to travel nationwide with some nights away
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Friendly personality with a ‘can do' attitude
