We're supporting a highly reputable, Legal-500 ranked law firm who are looking for a Legal Receptionist to assist with the day-to-day running of reception and as well as provide some administrative support to fee earners in their Shrewsbury office. This is a great opportunity to for someone with administrative experience looking for a career in legal.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operate the switchboard and handle general telephone enquiries.
  • Greet clients, escort them to meeting rooms, and provide refreshments.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized reception area and kitchen.
  • Open and close the reception area as required.
  • Ensure all meeting rooms are prepared and properly set up for scheduled meetings.
  • Book conference rooms and coordinate with caterers to order food for meetings.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including photocopying, filing, file closing, and scanning for fee earners.
  • Handle post duties such as scanning, distributing, and franking mail.
  • Undertake additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by your manager.

What we need from you:

  • Preferably some experience working in a legal environment (not essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
