Responsibilities -
- Maintain and reconcile sales, purchase, and rent ledgers
- Prepare bank reconciliations and support month-end processes
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting
- Process invoices, payments, and prepare cheques/cash for banking
- Handle accounts queries from colleagues, clients, and suppliers
- Assist in the preparation of payroll
- Provide data for the ONS (Office for National Statistics)
- General administrative support within the accounts department
The ideal candidate -
We are looking for someone who is:
- Financially Savvy - Ideally AAT-qualified or with equivalent experience, with solid knowledge of financial principles and credit control
- A Strong Communicator - Able to engage effectively with customers, colleagues, and suppliers
- Organised and Efficient - Skilled in managing multiple accounting tasks, prioritising deadlines, and maintaining high accuracy
- Detail-Oriented - Known for your accuracy in preparing reports and records
- IT Literate - Proficient in SAP or similar accounting software, databases, and Microsoft Office
