Purchase Ledger Controller

Your new companyHays is proud to be working exclusively with a dynamic business based in Shrewsbury, seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Controller to become a valuable part of their team. Your new roleIn this role, you will oversee all aspects of the Purchase Ledger, managing everything from invoice processing to payment runs and reporting. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Processing invoices, including those from foreign suppliers.
• Managing the weekly payment run efficiently.
• Performing supplier statement reconciliations.
• Addressing and resolving supplier queries promptly.
• Overseeing and maintaining supplier payment terms.
• Preparing monthly creditor reports and collaborating closely with the Finance Manager on these.

This comprehensive role requires a hands-on approach to ensure smooth and accurate financial operations.What you'll need to succeedYou should have proven experience in Purchase Ledger, with familiarity with automated bank uploads, foreign currencies, and GRNI processing, considered a valuable asset. A professional demeanour, strong communication skills, and an organised, detail-oriented approach are essential.
