Do you want to inspire the next generation of engineers, designers, and inventors? Excell Supply is looking for talented Supply Design and Technology Teachers to work in secondary schools across the Shrewsbury area.

Whether you are an experienced teacher or someone looking to explore the flexibility of supply teaching, we want to hear from you!

What You Will Do:
Deliver engaging, hands-on lessons in Design and Technology, covering areas like Product Design, Engineering, Textiles, and Electronics
Encourage students to think critically, solve problems, and be creative with their designs
Foster a positive and dynamic classroom environment, using your expertise to motivate and inspire learners
Work flexibly across a variety of secondary schools, gaining valuable experience and building your professional network
Help students develop the practical skills they need to succeed, both academically and in real-world applications


What We Are Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A strong background in Design and Technology, with subject expertise in areas such as Product Design, Engineering, or Textiles
Previous experience in teaching secondary school students (preferred, but not essential)
A passion for firsthand, practical learning
Excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a classroom effectively
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
