- Manage a caseload of children and families, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Undertake assessments, develop plans, and implement interventions for children in need, those on child protection plans, and those subject to care proceedings.
- Prepare and present court reports, attend legal proceedings, and work closely with legal professionals.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies, including health, education, and the police, to safeguard and support children and families.
- Regularly review and update care plans, ensuring they align with the best interests of the child.
- Provide guidance and support to families, promoting positive change and stability.
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Experience in Children in Need (CiN), Child Protection (CP), and Care Proceedings.
- Strong assessment, decision-making, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills and resilience in handling complex cases.
- Hybrid working: 2 days in the office, 3 days visiting and working from home.
