Social Worker / Senior Social Worker – Case Management TeamHybrid Working | £33.30 per hour LTD (£24.44 PAYE)About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker / Senior Social Worker to join our Case Management Team. This role involves working with Children in Need (CiN), Child Protection (CP), and Care Proceedings, ensuring the best outcomes for children and families.This is a hybrid role, offering a balance of office-based work (2 days), visits (3 days), and remote working. We are looking for a dedicated professional who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing complex cases while working collaboratively with multi-agency partners.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of children and families, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Undertake assessments, develop plans, and implement interventions for children in need, those on child protection plans, and those subject to care proceedings.
  • Prepare and present court reports, attend legal proceedings, and work closely with legal professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies, including health, education, and the police, to safeguard and support children and families.
  • Regularly review and update care plans, ensuring they align with the best interests of the child.
  • Provide guidance and support to families, promoting positive change and stability.
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience in Children in Need (CiN), Child Protection (CP), and Care Proceedings.
  • Strong assessment, decision-making, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication skills and resilience in handling complex cases.
