Sonic Summary

We are currently seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant (TA) for a Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision in South Shropshire, starting on 22/04/2024 for the entire Summer term.
The role may lead to a permanent position for the right candidate, who will support students aged 11-18 with Autism and other additional needs.
Candidates should ideally have experience working with children with Autism, providing both 1:1 and whole-class support in a KS4/5 setting.
The working hours are from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a maximum of 6 pupils per class and multiple teaching assistants available.

We are currently recruiting for a full time TA for a SEN provision in South Shropshire!

Ideally, they are looking for a start of 22/04/2024, with the view for the whole of the Summer term. There is also the potential for a permanent role for the right person!

The school comprises of a home and a special school, providing education and care for young people with Autism from 11-18. Students may have additional needs such as:Anxiety Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity, Emotional Difficulties, and Attachment Conditions.

About the role…

KS4/5
Support across the board, sometimes 1:1 or whole class support.
Ideally experience with working with children with Autism!
Full time 8:30-4:30
