Commercial Account Handler/Farming and Agriculture

Location: Shrewsbury

Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 (DOE)

The Company:

We are working with a longstanding, reputable, independent insurance broker based in Shrewsbury who are looking for a Farming/Commercial Account Handler to join their High performing team

This is a company that prides themselves on supporting staff through qualification support and career advancement opportunities and it is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Agricultural experience to gain further knowledge.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing renewals, new business, mid-term amendments and client information presentations, including negotiating premiums and terms with insurers

Also dealing with day to day queries for all clients and updating all information accurately on the Acturis System

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Insurance professional who is looking to take the next step in their career

The Required Skills:

Previous experience within Commercial Insurance in a broking role is preferable. However, alternative experience such as administration would be considered

Strong IT, Communication, Rapport building and negotiation skills and phone manner

A willingness to learn and ability to take initiative is essential

Cert CII is preferable however, support will be provided
