- Our client is seeking a highly skilled maintenance technician with a flexible approach to undertake various building maintenance tasks.
- The primary responsibilities include mechanical engineering works and the maintenance of heating and plumbing systems.
- The position requires the ability to perform multi-skilled tasks on mechanical and electrical systems within established competence.
- The technician will also support and deputize for assistant managers during short-term absences.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience is required, with a competitive salary of $50,000 per year.
To undertake duties in respect of the maintenance of heating, plumbing systems and other mechanical services and equipment in Trust premises.
To carry out multi skilled tasks, on mechanical and electrical systems on Trust premises, but within established competence to meet the service needs and assisting other trades such as electrical and building technicians.
To support and deputise for the assistant managers short term when required ie annual leave, training.
To assist in the smooth running of the maintenance team and department.
The postholder may be required to undertake work at alternative Trust sites.
