  • We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support our client on HPC on a staff basis.
  • The role involves monitoring equipment suppliers, ensuring consistency in project handovers, and managing contract open points.
  • Candidates should have knowledge of RCC-E electrical regulations and experience in the nuclear field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required for this position.
  • The salary for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience.

We are recruiting an Electrical Engineer to support our client on HPC on a staff basis.

 

The main purpose of the role is to:

  • Monitoring the main equipment supplier on the scope of the cable trays and Generic Electric Installation (IEG) supports as well as the earthing network, in interface with the layout and calculation teams.
  • The technical engineering lead service main mission is to ensure:
  • The transversal consistency of the Handovers issued by each building and the fulfilment of the "Terms of reference" put in place on the project
  • Management and follow up of contract Open points, design changes, interfaces with installations teams in coordination with the Contract Engineering Lead
  • Technical clarification and resolution of supplier and client technical queries
  • Organise Lead reviews of supplier, client and RD technical documents
  • Contribution to the annual surveillance report Identifying technical impacts from Open Points and UK Design Changes in interface with the scope covered by the IEG contact.
  • Processing of Requests for technical Exemptions to the Contract coming from the supplier

 

Required technical skills are as follows:

  • Knowledge of the RCC-E electrical technical regulations and the technical reference system (NFC15-100 / NF C 13-200 / BS7671 / IEC 60909)
  • Knowledge of the nuclear field via school curriculum or professional experience
  • Knowledge of the processes involved in industrial projects in the energy field
  • Technical documents reviews
