Description & Background:

An opportunity has arisen for a HSE Advisor for the Hinkley Point C project. This critical role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across complex electrical installations and maintenance operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote a positive Health & Safety culture throughout the company and supply chain
  • Implement and ensure HSE Management System policies and procedures across all project work scopes
  • Conduct weekly site performance inspections and comprehensive audits
  • Ensure appropriate implementation of company policies and procedures
  • Manage comprehensive incident response, reporting, and investigation processes

Experience Required:

  • Health & Safety Degree or NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Electrical qualification advantageous
  • Experience of monitoring and auditing electrical scopes of work essential
  • Proven experience in HSE management within complex industrial environments
  • Extensive knowledge of HSE best practices and management systems
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive safety assessments
  • Ability to lead and influence across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Advanced reporting and documentation skills

Rate, Hours and Location:

  • 10 hours per day Full-time
