Position Overview:The Onboarding Admin will play a crucial role in facilitating the onboarding process for new hires at a site under construction in Somerset. This includes managing the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance process and utilizing the WIMS system to support operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • BPSS Clearance Management:
    • Coordinate and manage the BPSS clearance process for new employees.
    • Ensure all necessary documentation and information are accurately submitted.
    • Liaise with relevant authorities to expedite the clearance process.
    • Maintain records of clearance statuses and follow up on pending applications.
  • Onboarding Process:
    • Welcome new hires and provide them with essential information about the company and their roles.
    • Assist new employees with completing onboarding paperwork and administrative tasks.
    • Schedule and conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new hires with company policies, procedures, and systems.
    • Ensure new hires have access to necessary resources, including technical assistance for hardware/software setup.
  • General Administrative Support:
    • Maintain accurate employee records and update internal HR systems.
    • Provide support and guidance to new hires throughout their onboarding journey.
    • Assist with the coordination and distribution of employee documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with all onboarding processes and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in HR or administrative roles, preferably in onboarding.
  • Familiarity with BPSS clearance processes and requirements
  • Proficiency in using the WIMS System
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
