Location: 100%Site Based

NRL are currently looking for an Industrial RelationsCoordinator to work with one of our leading clients on a New Build Powerstation in the Bridgwater area.The Industrial Relations Assistant (IR Assistant) will support the site-based Industrial Relations Manager (IR Manager) in all IR matters on-site.

Job Description:
Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Arrange and participate in monthly IR local joint council meetings, including taking minutes.
  • Attend and document weekly Tier 2 contractor IR meetings.
  • Collate and input information for monthly Workforce Reports.
  • Update and maintain the Competency & Qualifications Matrix.
  • Attend and minute all types of Employee Relations meetings.
  • Liaise with Tier 2 contractors IR and site managers to gather workforce information.
  • Input IR documents onto MTA.
  • Produce IR spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Assist in updating IR procedures.
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Reliable information reporting.
  • Ensure process compliance.
Job Specifics:
  • Provide support to the site IR Manager.
  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as reasonably required by the Site IR Manager.
  • Demonstrate proactivity, reliability, dependability, and trustworthiness.
  • Learn quickly and adapt.
  • Exhibit a team-player nature.
Profile:
Education & Training:
  • CIPD qualified and/or relevant degree or higher degree.
  • Proficiency in MS-Windows and Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MTA, intranet).
Professional Experience:
  • Essential: Previous IR experience.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience working on international construction projects in an administrative role.
Language Skills:
  • Fluent in English (oral and written).
  • Proficiency in any other languages is an advantage.

  • Reporting to:Industrial Relations Manager
