Salary: £50,339 - £61,417 (depending on experience)
Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
Based in Sidcup
Our client, a prestigious arts college, based in Sidcup is looking for a candidate to join team as their head of communications. The college is entering a period of new strategy, and they are looking to expand their postgraduate offering, intensify their focus on research and development, and cultivate a more diverse community. They are looking for a strategic communicator to join our Corporate Affairs team and help drive this transformative journey. For this role a real 'can do’ attitude, the ability to adapt to change and a problem-solving mindset is essential.
As Head of Communications, you'll be instrumental in shaping and executing their communications strategy.
Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Affairs, you will:
- Lead a team to implement a comprehensive strategic communications plan
- Oversee their social media and SEO strategies to engage key stakeholders
- Manage the creation of compelling content across all channels
- Build relationships with strategic media partners
- Collaborate on sales campaigns
- Be a key member of their Crisis Communications team
What We're Looking For:
- Experienced communications professional with a strong background in reputation management
- Experience working within the arts.
- Proven ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights
- Experience in crisis communications
- Strong execution skills and a consultative approach to problem-solving
- Understanding compliance in regulated industries, ideally Higher Education
