Electrical Contracts Manager Overview
The Electrical Contracts Manager oversees electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with BS 7671 and delivering high-quality results. The role involves managing multiple projects, developing strong client relationships, and maximizing profit through effective project management and value engineering.
- Client Relations: Develop repeat business through strong client relationships.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring BS 7671 compliance.
- Estimating: Conduct electrical estimates for projects up to 80,000.
- Profit Management: Achieve pre-determined profit levels through value engineering.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage engineers, ensuring high performance.
- Communication: Be responsive to all communications and maintain regular client contact.
- Sub-contractor Management: Ensure proper contracts and documentation are in place.
Electrical Contracts Manager Requirements
- Qualifications: BS 7671 qualified with experience in electrical installation.
- 18th edition or equivalent
- Experience: 5+ years as a Contracts Manager, managing projects up to 100K.
- Skills: Proficiency in electrical estimating.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel outside London/South East.

- 55,000 - 60,000 DOE
