Location: Hybrid, Sidcup Office and London area
Reports to: Group HSQE Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking an HSQE & Sentinel Coordinator to ensure compliance with HSQE standards and the Sentinel scheme. This role supports safe, high-quality, and environmentally sustainable projects while maintaining rail personnel competency.

Key Responsibilities:

HSQE Compliance:

  • Conduct audits, inspections, and ensure compliance with legislation and policies.
  • Assist in incident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions.
  • Support HSQE training, toolbox talks, and awareness initiatives.
  • Maintain and update HSQE policies, procedures, and records.

Sentinel Coordination:

  • Administer the Sentinel scheme, ensuring personnel competency.
  • Verify and maintain Sentinel records, training, and compliance.
  • Arrange medicals, drug/alcohol testing, and competency re-certifications.
  • Liaise with Network Rail and other regulatory bodies.

General Duties:

  • Promote a positive HSQE culture and support project teams.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
  • Manage purchase orders and PPE distribution.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Internal Auditor qualifications (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
  • Sentinel experience is essential.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience with HSQE management and rail compliance.
  • Knowledge of Sentinel scheme and Network Rail standards.
  • Strong organization, communication, and IT skills.

Desirable:

  • PTS certification or rail experience.
  • Knowledge of environmental management and sustainability.
