An established company has a new opening for an Estimator to join their thriving team. The Estimator role involves being a vital member of the office-based team, responsible for providing support in estimating and scheduling activities.

  • Salary: £30,000
  • Full time office based
  • Parking on site

Estimator responsibilities:

  • Assisting in organising relevant project information for estimating purposes
  • Collaborating with the Estimating Team to ensure accurate and timely completion of estimates
  • Maintaining documentation related to estimates, including specifications, and drawings
  • Conducting research and collecting data to support estimates
  • Assisting with preparing and submitting bids/proposals
  • Coordinating and scheduling projects based on customer requirements/project specifications
  • Preparing detailed schedules, liaising with suppliers on costs and lead times
  • Communicating with the Sales and Operation Teams, Project Managers, and suppliers to resolve conflicts
  • Maintaining accurate records of schedules, resources, and project timelines
  • Monitoring project progress, adjusting schedules as required to meet deadlines and customer expectations
  • Preparing and distributing reports and relevant documentation
  • Assisting with creating and maintaining project documentation including contracts and work orders

Estimator required skills/competencies:

  • Proven experience as an Estimator desirable (3 years)
  • Knowledge of estimation software and scheduling tools
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
