Salary: £36,962 - £40,191 (depending on experience)

Our client, a prestigious arts college, based in Sidcup is looking for a candidate to join team as their events and communications manager. The college is entering a period of new strategy, and they are looking to expand their postgraduate offering, intensify their focus on research and development, and cultivate a more diverse community.

They are looking for an innovative Events and Communications Manager to orchestrate their high-profile institutional events and help shape their events communications strategy. For this role a real 'can do’ attitude, the ability to adapt to change and a problem-solving mindset is essential.

As Events and Communications Manager, you'll play a crucial role in showcasing the institution's excellence.

Reporting to the Head of Communications. You will:

  • Lead the delivery of key institutional events, from prestigious ceremonies to West End showcases
  • Develop and implement comprehensive events and communications plans
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across the institution and beyond
  • Ensure key events are purposeful, provide excellent customer experiences, and capture relevant data
  • Create and maintain communications collateral across various platforms

What We're Looking For:

  • Significant experience in planning and delivering successful events
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of event management, including budgeting and compliance (Health & Safety, GDPR, CMA)
  • Experience working within the arts
  • Understanding of the creative industries and UK Higher Education sector
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends for events
