AJ Chambers are working with an impressive regional accountancy practice currently searching for for a new team member to manage the accounts and corporate tax workflow. The role will also include supervision and development of the team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate looking for a new challenge in a growing accountancy firm sized 50+ staff.
The role would suit someone coming from an existing accountancy practice background looking to progress their career and having had experience in managing deadlines and team members. The role will include the following responsibilities:
- Holding a portfolio of clients
- Reviewing statutory accounts and corporate tax computations
- Training juniors
- Giving feedback to team members
- Managing and planning workflow
- Reporting to managers on progress weekly
- Providing sets of accounts to high standard to managers
- Liaising with clients on queries
A good awareness of all business taxes is desirable but supported by the tax team.
Ideally the candidate will be AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified.

- Good IT skills and knowledge of emerging technologies
- Good communication skills internally and with third parties
- Strong technical capability in accounts and taxation
