We are looking for immediate start Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for leading brand in Sidcup for an on-going role. Potential for this to progress to a permanent opportunity.
Job title: FLT driver
Job type: Temporary - ongoing
Pay rate: £12.97 then moving to £14.41 per hour after 12 weeks.
Shifts:06:00-18:00 or 18:00-06:00 and we can offer up to 48 hours per week.
*Shifts will be rotational - must be flexible to work both the shifts.
Qualifications:
- MUST have FLT licence for 1 year + (in-house license is also accepted, but should be in date)
Duties:
- Maintaining safety and housekeeping standards at all times
- Operating a Forklift truck (Full training provided)
- Moving goods around the warehouse using SAP (via the vehicle mount unit)
- Remove new production stock from production conveyors
- Store the pallets in the Warehouse
- Unload vehicles delivering full goods into the warehouse
- Load outbound vehicles to dispatch to customers and other company sites
- Some manual handling may be required to rebuild damaged pallets
- Achieve productivity targets
