If your answer is yes to the above questions, we are looking for immediate start Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for the leading brand in Sidcup for an ongoing role. Potential for this to progress to a permanent opportunity.
Job title: FLT driver
Job type: Temporary - ongoing
Pay rate: £12.97 then moving to £14.41 per hour after 12 weeks.
Shifts:06:00-18:00 or 18:00-06:00 and we can offer up to 48 hours per week.
*Shifts will be rotational - must be flexible to work both the shifts.
Qualifications:
- MUST have FLT license for 1 year + (in-house license is also accepted, but should be in date)
Duties:
- Maintaining safety and housekeeping standards at all times
- Operating a Forklift truck (Full training provided)
- Moving goods around the warehouse using SAP (via the vehicle mount unit)
- Remove new production stock from production conveyors
- Store the pallets in the Warehouse
- Unload vehicles delivering full goods into the warehouse
- Load outbound vehicles to dispatch to customers and other company sites
- Some manual handling may be required to rebuild damaged pallets
- Achieve productivity targets
