Are you highly-creative, resilient trained HLTA looking for a new challenge? Then this opportunity at an SEMH Primary School in Sidcup may be just what you are looking for. 

The Role

The school are looking for a highly skilled HLTA with experience of working with highly complex A.S.D./SEMH pupils. You will be supporting them developing their day to day and academic skills as well as their social emotional needs, in preparation for their transition to secondary education. You will have a timetable to provide interventions and cover classes across the school. As part of your role the school would ideally like to cover lessons to complement the work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities both in and out of school, under an agreed system of supervision that supports the teacher with learning outcomes.

The School

This secondary SEND school is based in Bexley and is for 11-19 with a range of learning disabilities from moderate to severe. Children access an engaging and broad range of learning and development opportunities with excellent facilities including sensory and therapy spaces. There is excellent training and professional development opportunities within the trust and long-term career progression options.
