Workmans Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded, long-established construction firm with over 80 years of experience. Renowned for delivering top-quality building maintenance, refurbishment, and construction services to housing associations and councils across the UK.

If youre passionate about writing and eager to grow in a supportive environment, this role is for you. As a Graduate Bid Writer, youll support all stages of the bid process, including Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, tenders, and presentations, while assisting with marketing and business development. A comprehensive training program will equip you with the skills to excel in bid writing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to plan and complete selection questionnaires and tender submissions
  • Research and write content to support bids
  • Review client documentation related to the bid
  • Help maintain the bid library with up-to-date, high-quality content
  • Ensure submission accuracy and quality for successful bids
  • Write case studies showcasing the companys strengths and successes

Desirable Skills:

  • Degree educated in English or another writing-based subject
  • Minimum A-level or equivalent in English Literature/Language
  • Interest in the construction industry and a willingness to learn about its intricacies
  • Ability to engage effectively with colleagues at all levels within the company
  • Proficient in IT, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Package & Benefits:

  • Salary: £27,500 per annum
