An Exam Invigilator is needed in a Mixed Secondary Grammar School & Sixth Form in South East London.

The school will need an Exam Invigilator from the 12th of May 2025 to the 16th of June 2025.

Shifts for this Exam Invigilator role can be part or full time.

If appointed as an Exam Invigilator, you will be required to supervise GCSE and A Level exams.

Standard Exam Invigilator responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

* Arranging exam halls for pupils to enter and be seated at the right desk* Ensuring pupils are entering and leaving the exam halls in a calm manner* Provide pupils with the right instructions and resources for them to complete their papers* Escorting pupils to the toilets when needed* Monitoring general behaviour to prevent cheating and disruptions * Organising completed papers in the correct categories for collection and marking* Properly storing used equipment (calculators etc) after the exam is finished* Working alongside the Exams Team to effectively coordinate rotas for cover

The rates of pay for this Exam Invigilator position will be £13.69 or £15.87 per hour, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant.

An Ofsted rated 'Good' Mixed Secondary Grammar School & Sixth Form, located in the London Borough of Bexley.

Established in 1931, there are now just under 1500 pupils enrolled.

Notable former pupils include musicians, politicians and sportsmen.

Facilities include but aren't limited to a high quality purpose-built Gymnasium, Lecture Theatre, Sports Pavilion, as well as Art, Music, Sixth Form and Technology blocks.

Requirements

This is a great opportunity for a Graduate looking to get experience of working in schools or an experienced Exam Invigilator.
