Payroll Officer

Due to continued expansion and investment, our client are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join the team

Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm

Salary: £35,000

The successful candidate will:

• Be responsible for managing the full end-to-end payroll process
• Deal with complaints and questions regarding payroll from employees and upper management
• Update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc.
• Calculate pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime
• Ensuring for the correct tax treatment of employees including issuing P45's and dealing with PAYE enquires

What our client is looking for in a Payroll Specialist:

• An individual who has experience in Payroll
• Have strong communication skills and be able to speak to a wide range of people at all levels and adapt accordingly
• Be able to prioritise their own workload to meet deadlines
• To be able to enter data accurately whilst always maintaining personnel and data confidentiality
