Payroll Officer
Due to continued expansion and investment, our client are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join the team
Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Salary: £35,000
The successful candidate will:
- Be responsible for managing the full end-to-end payroll process
- Deal with complaints and questions regarding payroll from employees and upper management
- Update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc.
- Calculate pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime
- Ensuring for the correct tax treatment of employees including issuing P45's and dealing with PAYE enquires
What our client is looking for in a Payroll Specialist:
- An individual who has experience in Payroll
- Have strong communication skills and be able to speak to a wide range of people at all levels and adapt accordingly
- Be able to prioritise their own workload to meet deadlines
- To be able to enter data accurately whilst always maintaining personnel and data confidentiality
