We are currently working with a Primary School which is located in the heart of Sidcup who are currently seeking a full time enthusiastic and highly motivated KS1 teacher who is passionate about working with children. They are looking for a teacher who has excellent classroom management skills and high expectations of all pupils are essential as well as comprehensive knowledge of the National Curriculum.

This school has a welcoming and supportive staff and friendly, polite and enthusiastic children who enjoy their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a safe, organised and stimulating environment that fosters curiosity, independence and celebrates pupils’ achievements.
  • To take responsibility for the progress of all pupils in the class.
  • Set clear targets for pupils’ learning, building on prior attainment, and ensuring pupils are aware of the substance and purpose of what they are asked to do
  • To adhere to all school Safeguarding policies and procedure and to be familiar with and support the aims, ethos and policies of the school
  • Work closely with parents and carers for the benefit of the children

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within a primary school
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning environment and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
