Workman's Recruitment are working on behalf of a highly regarded and long-established Social Housing Contractor renowned for its exceptional service in offering building maintenance and construction services to housing associations, and public and education sectors for the past 80 years in London and surrounding counties.

You will play a crucial role within one of our contract teams, managing the financial aspects of awarded contracts from pre-contract tendering through to the final account phase. You will work closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure the efficient financial management of the projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Price tender inquiries with on-site visits
  • Detailed condition surveys and photographs
  • Monthly valuations/accounts management
  • Negotiate subcontractor rates, ensuring all safety requirements are met
  • Provide clients with precise price estimates for additional works
  • Assist in completing contract performance assessment sheets
  • Liaising with contractors and other technical professionals

Required Experience:

  • Full Manuel UK Driving License
  • A recognized Quantity Surveying qualification.
  • Experience in a Quantity Surveyor role in the construction industry
  • Fully computer literate with proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of relevant construction contracts and procurement processes
