Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Sidcup
Salary: Up to £70,000 + Benefits
We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Sidcup. This growing company, with a workforce of 200 and a project management & surveying team of 50, is focused on expanding by 30% over the next few years, providing excellent opportunities for career development.
The role will primarily involve working on projects within the housing sector, and as such, you will need to be MRICS qualified.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing the financial and contractual aspects of various housing projects
- Leading cost management, budgeting, and forecasting across the project lifecycle
- Preparing tenders, contract documentation, and managing procurement processes
- Delivering detailed valuations, cost reports, and final accounts
- Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to team growth and development
- MRICS qualification is essential
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the housing sector
- Strong commercial acumen and expertise in managing costs and contracts
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work within a fast-paced, collaborative environment
