Workman's Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded and long-established Social Housing Contractor, renowned for delivering building maintenance and construction services to housing associations, councils, and the education sector for over 80 years.

We are seeking a Social Value Coordinator to manage the delivery, reporting, and administration of Social Value and Sustainability initiatives. This role requires project management, communication, and analytical skills to achieve measurable outcomes, ideal for a graduate with strong administrative expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Social Value initiatives, including employment, apprenticeships, community engagement, and sustainability efforts.
  • Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure Social Value commitments are met.
  • Track and report Social Value activities, maintaining accurate records and data.
  • Arrange and oversee job fairs, school visits, and community projects.
  • Support sustainability tracking, including waste reduction and CO2 savings.
  • Engage with clients and supply chain partners to ensure compliance with Social Value requirements.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Social Sciences, or Sustainability
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Experience in data entry and reporting with attention to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with internal teams and external partners.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to implement Social Value initiatives effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience or interest in Social Value, CSR, or Sustainability in construction.
  • Familiarity with the TOMS Framework and Social Value metrics.
  • Knowledge of Power BI or data visualisation tools.
  • Understanding of procurement processes and SME engagement.
  • Analytical Thinking.
