SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA)Location: Sidcup (must be able to travel)Salary: £14 per hourType: [Full-Time/Part-Time]We are seeking an exceptional Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work both inside and outside of the classroom. The successful candidate will provide support to named students with learning difficulties or disabilities, helping them to fully access the curriculum and reach their potential.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities.
  • Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson plans and resources.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Encourage student engagement and participation in all activities.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Candidates must have experience working with young people in educational settings, particularly with those who have additional needs. Previous experience as an LSA or in similar roles is preferred, but we also welcome applications from graduates seeking firsthand experience with the potential for future teacher training.
  • Skills: A passion for improving outcomes for young people with additional needs and the ability to adapt to diverse learning styles.
