Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 3 students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of all students.
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and staff.
- Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and other professionals to meet the needs of each student.
- Foster strong relationships with students, encouraging their confidence and self-esteem.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with school policies.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of primary education and the national curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
- Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are desirable.
