A specialist SEND school in are looking for SEND Teachers to join their school to join their school on a full-time starting ASAP.

The Role

The school are looking for full-time SEN teachers to work across the school to teach a class of 6 pupils with special educational needs. The classes are structured around ability rather as opposed to age and pupils will have a range of needs from moderate to severe.

You will work alongside experienced SEND teachers and leaders in curriculum planning and preparation. There are a number of dedicated and experienced support staff based in the class to support the pupils across all learning and development activities.  You will be teaching a broad curriculum based on supporting students to make academic, social and emotional progress through a range of class-based and enrichment learning activities.

The school are looking for qualified and experienced teachers with previous experience in a special needs school or a mainstream primary or secondary teachers who would like to pursue a career within the special needs sector.

These roles are offered on an ongoing contract basis initially until July 2025 with the potential for the role to be extended.

This secondary SEND school is based in Bexley and is for 11-19 with a range of learning disabilities from moderate to severe. Children access an engaging and broad range of learning and development opportunities with excellent facilities including sensory and therapy spaces.
