Description
- Coordinate and manage supply chain operations within the retail department.
- Oversee and organise inventory, ensuring efficient and accurate stock management.
- Maintain robust relationships with suppliers, managing contracts and negotiating terms as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve supply chain processes.
- Produce regular reports on supply chain performance and suggest improvements where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage and resolve any supply chain issues promptly and effectively.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to departmental objectives and strategy.
Profile
A successful Supply Chain Administrator should have:
- A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using supply chain software and other relevant computer systems.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
