An amazing opportunity to be part of an exciting secondary school in East Devon has just become available for a qualified Maths teacher or ECT. The school is keen to add a Maths teacher to their successful team who is willing and eager to provide the best quality of support to students within KS3-KS5.
The opportunity is based in East Devon, coastal location based in beautiful Devon. The school aims to provide a personalised learning experience in an inclusive environment that recognises all members of the community as equals. The headteacher is looking for an applicant that can equip students with resilience, respect and the ability to manage their emotions will enable them to be successful in any classroom or wider social environment.
You will be working in collaboration with colleagues. It is essential to be confident of planning and preparing an engaging and creative class environment for the children. Strong ability to build relationships with students is necessary, with the ability to empower them on their learning journey. Good classroom and behavioural management.
The typical working hours are 8.30am - 3.30pm, with the expectation to be involved with any other requirements at school including staff meetings which would be outside these timings.
Salary for the role is dependant on experience and pro-rata if part-time, this can be discussed during the interview process.
