LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
Location: Silsoe
Reporting to: Senior Landscape Architect/Project Manager
An opportunity has arisen for a talented Landscape Architect to join a dynamic team based in Silsoe. This role involves working on diverse landscape projects, including residential, commercial, and public realm developments, with a focus on sustainable and innovative design solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS

Develop creative and practical landscape designs that meet client and project requirements.

Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments.

Prepare detailed technical drawings, masterplans, and planting schemes.

Collaborate with architects, planners, engineers, and other professionals.

Ensure compliance with planning policies, environmental regulations, and industry standards.

Work on a range of projects from concept design through to construction and completion.

Provide input on material selection, sustainability considerations, and biodiversity strategies.

Engage with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities, presenting proposals effectively.

Use industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS tools.

Manage projects within time and budget constraints while maintaining high design standards.
REQUIREMENTS

Degree or Master’s in Landscape Architecture or related field.

Chartered Membership or working towards Chartered status with the Landscape Institute (LI).

Strong design, presentation, and technical skills.

Experience with relevant software, including CAD and visualisation tools.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Passion for sustainable and environmentally responsible design.

A valid UK driving licence is preferred.
