Position: Quality Engineer
Location: Silverstone, Northants

Our client, high performance design and engineering solution provider within the Automotive industry are looking to hire a Quality Engineer!
Role and Responsibilities –
In this role you will look to define, create and manage a strategy for meeting customer quality requirements, ensuring standards are met to meet success levels.
Other responsibilities include:
- Managing and continuously improving an agile quality management system and team and support FMEA activities
- Utilising 8D principles as a basis for effective problem resolution and able to facilitate the resolution of complex, cross functional issues
- Provide guidance to the inspection team and ensuring quality best practices are being followed
- Managing and continuously improving an agile quality management system and team
Experience or Qualifications –
- Degree educated or proven experience in an engineering environment (ideally automotive)
- Understanding and auditing experience of ISO9001
- Ability to interrogate and analyse FEA, CFD and simulation techniques as appropriate
- Evidence of customer facing experience to enhance and improve standards
Candidates who currently are a Quality Engineer, Senior Quality Engineer, QMS Engineer, Process Quality Engineer, or Supplier Quality Engineer may be suitable for this position.
