Proud to partner with a dynamic, family run sized company located in the Silverstone area who is seeking a talented and driven Permanent Supply Chain Coordinator to join their small yet impactful team.

The vacancy:

Key role within the business to ensure the smooth delivery of multiple and varied projects.  You will be involved at every stage of the project from project initiation through to project delivery, liaising with customers, project team and working across internal company departments.

Supporting the Supply Chain Manager across all aspects of procurement, logistics and after sales support you will be part of a vibrant and exciting team.

Day to day duties are likely to involve:

  • Raising purchase orders
  • Issuing spares quotations to customers
  • Liaising with suppliers for technical detail, including drawings and specifications 
  • Following up issued spares quotes to customers
  • Maintaining regular customer contact to drive sales
  • Stock control
  • Monthly financial reporting to Supply Chain Manager
  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Weekly reporting  

What we need from you:-

  • Excellent communication skills as you will be acting as an ambassador for the company.
  • Organisational skills, timekeeping and proficient IT skills are a pre-requisite of this position.
  • Previous experience of working within a manufacturing/engineering environment is preferable.
