Part-Time Bookkeeper

Our client is a growing business located on the outskirts of Sittingbourne; you would be working with Finance Manager daily helping with the day-to-day running of the Finance department.Main Responsibilities and DutiesSales Invoicing:
  • Generate and issue sales invoices to clients and customers promptly.
  • Ensure invoices are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies and contractual terms.
  • Maintain records of invoices and monitor payment status.
Chasing Creditors:
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and manage accounts receivable.
  • Communicate with clients and customers to resolve payment and collections issues.
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
General Bookkeeping:
  • Record and categorize financial transactions, including expenses, receipts, and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports as required.
Candidate Requirements – Essential
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Driving License
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
