Machine Operator:

Sittingbourne

Salary up to £30,000 DOE

Hours: 8:30am- 4:30pm Monday- Friday (no weekends)

Our client is an independently owned manufacturer providing products to clients in a variety of market sectors. They are currently recruiting for a Production operator to operate machinery and produce bespoke products to the customer's requirements. There is also potential for training on other machinery as you gain experience.

The ideal candidate will have operated machinery, label printing, die cutting or even finishing, previously and experience working in a printing environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Make sure to complete your daily tasks and meet the set targets efficiently
  • Produce work of the best possible quality, adhering to quality procedures consistently
  • Take responsibility for keeping equipment clean and well-maintained during the process
  • Use the job sheet to communicate how jobs are done and the exact settings needed for consistent results
  • Work closely with the Production Manager to enhance quality, streamline processes, and improve overall production efficiency

Key Skills:

  • Good knowledge using machinery
  • Self-motivated and practical
  • Basic PC skills
  • Good maths skills
  • Well organised, with the ability to effectively manage own time and prioritise work
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to produce jobs correctly and accurately first time
  • Ability to work as part of a team
