Role Overview:

Our well-established client are looking to onboard a reliable and detail orientated Van Driver / Furniture Installer to join their already flourishing team!

You will be delivering a range of different furniture to various locations across the Southeast. As a driver you will be representing the company first hand, by being at the forefront of the business. Therefore, the successful candidate will need excellent customer service understanding, paired with the ability and competency on the driving and installing side.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the vehicle safely and effectively on the road as well as on site
  • Attend and complete deliveries to customers houses coupled with completing the install process
  • Undertaking daily vehicle checks ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy
  • Maintain a successful delivery rate adhering to ETA's
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and complete necessary paperwork
  • Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of the vehicle

Requirements:

  • Valid driving licence
  • No more than 3 points
  • Fit, healthy and able to perform occasional heavy lifting
  • Flexible and reliable with a good attitude
  • Punctual and safety conscious
