Role Overview:
Our well-established client within the building and construction industry are looking to onboard a reliable and experienced Class 2 Hiab Driver to join their already flourishing department!
You will be delivering a range of building materials to various sites across Kent & the South East with the added bonus of very limited driving in London! As a driver you will be representing the company first hand, by being at the forefront of the business. Therefore the successful candidate will need excellent customer service understanding, paired with the ability and competency on the driving and operating side.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the vehicle and lift equipment safely and effectively.
- Undertaking daily vehicle checks ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy.
- Maintain a successful delivery rate adhering to ETA's
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and complete necessary paperwork.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Valid class 2 licence with Hiab.
- Up to date CPC.
- Tachograph card.
- Must be over 25.
- No more than 6 points.
- Flexible and reliable with a good attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.
