An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and proactive Electrician to join our growing maintenance team.
We are seeking a Time Served Electricianwith strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a professional attitude to support electrical installations across our various farms.
The ideal candidate will be 18th Edition qualified, with experience in fault finding and working in a fast-paced environment. A test and inspection qualification(such as 2391) is desirablebut not essential.
Responsibilities Include:
Carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations across the site.
Conducting fault-finding and diagnostics to ensure minimal downtime.
Working on single and three-phase systems and other electrical infrastructure.
Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and internal safety procedures.
Ordering and managing critical spare parts as needed.
Supporting the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems or machinery.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Time-served electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (essential).
- Test and Inspection qualification (e.g., C&G 2391 or 2394/2395) (desirable, but not essential).
- Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive mindset.
- Solid understanding of health and safety in electrical work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Experience in a commercial, industrial, or manufacturing setting.
The hours you would work:
Monday - Friday - 08:00 - 17:00 (occasional out of hours work will be required)
Salary :
£40,000-£50,000
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
