Are you an experienced CNC Operator Setter Programmer?

Do you have a passion for engineering and hands on manufacturing?

Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Sittingbourne are looking for a skilled, diligent, and agile CNC operator setter programmer that works well as part of a workshop team and is target driven.

Main duties include:

  • Manufacturing precision machined components in line with engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Setting and operating several multi-axis CNC machines with a range of controllers.
  • Carrying out initial quality checks on machined parts.
  • Maintaining program, tooling and inspection records for all components produced.

You will have at least 3-years’ experience in manufacturing, and an in-depth knowledge of CNC Milling/Turning. You will also possess:

  • Experience with multi axis milling machines
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • The ability to work to strict tolerances.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A flexible nature and good communication skills
  • A good understanding of health and safety in an engineering environment

Exposure to programming and the ability to edit set programmes would be beneficial but is not essential.

Hours of work are Monday-Thursday, 7.30am-4.00pm and Friday 7.30am-1.30pm.
