Are you an experienced CNC Setter Operator Programmer?
Do you have an in depth knowledge of FANUC controls and the ability to produce designs from customer drawings?
Do you have a passion for engineering and hands on manufacturing?
Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Sittingbourne are looking for a skilled, diligent, and agile CNC Setter OperatorProgrammer that works well as part of a workshop team and is target driven.
Main duties include:
- Manufacturing precision machined components in line with engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Programming machines to customer drawings
- Setting and operating several multi-axis CNC machines with FANUC controllers
- Carrying out initial quality checks on machined parts.
- Maintaining program, tooling and inspection records for all components produced.
The ideal CNC Setter OperatorProgrammer will have at least 3-years’ experience in manufacturing, and an in-depth knowledge of CNC Milling/Turning. You will also possess:
- Experience with multi axis milling machines
- The ability to interpret technical drawings.
- The ability to work to strict tolerances.
- Excellent attention to detail
- A flexible nature and good communication skills
- A good understanding of health and safety in an engineering environment
Hours of work are Monday-Thursday, 7.30am-4.00pm and Friday 7.30am-1.30pm.
